Kathy + Brad: A Love Story

After lots of life lived apart, including marriages, children, and being widowed, these two high-school sweethearts found their way back to one another. Shooting together, I was able to witness both the gentle yet playful love they share together.

Want to know something straight out of a storybook? Shortly after reconnecting, they got matching tattoos together with the sweetest symbolism. For sailors, the swallow represents 5,000 nautical miles traveled and the intention for a sailor to return home. After decades apart, Brad and Kathy tattooed swallows on their hands to represent ‘coming home’ to one another. I wish these two deserving love-birds nothing but happiness in their new chapter together.
