Wade and Julia’s sunrise engagement session in River Falls, WI was a beautiful way to enjoy a September morning. We had an unanticipated complication with our initial plans but you’d never know it from the photos!

We did Aiden’s 6-Month Milestone session at one of the most beautiful, Victorian homes on the hill in Stillwater, Minnesota. Milestone sessions are always such a fun way to witness the growing up of my tiniest clients.

We woke up extra early to make sure we didn’t miss the sunrise at the St. Croix Savanna overlook in Bayport, Minnesota.

We ended up shooting at a cute little off-shoot park of the Willow River State Park. It’s become one of my favorite new locations this season and of course, Jordan and Nick came perfectly outfitted for their little river-side picnic.

Welcome to the world, Little Miss Luna! I was able to meet her within the first week of her being born for an in-home session in Katie + Mike’s beautiful Lake Elmo home.

Being back at Style Society in Minneapolis, MN to do Brenna’s branding + portrait session was truly a dream. Her hope was to be able to not only walk away with some stellar headshots for LinkedIn but also to get creative and play with some portraits that really showcase her + her interests.

This maternity session was in the most quaint little spot of the Willow River just outside Hudson, WI. It was the perfect spring location for this mama-to-be.

We shot at Style Society in Minneapolis, MN to celebrate this little one’s first 6 months! Marleigh’s Milestone session was perfect and Style Society was the best rental spot. This little one has a big family with lots of love and she was the sweetest little trooper for photos.

We rented the cutest little AirBnb in Uptown Minneapolis, MN just blocks from Lake Bde Maka Ska. It was the perfect spot to document this winter Minnesota maternity session.

Jordan + Allan wanted to incorporate one of their favorite restaurants, The Agave Kitchen, in Hudson, WI into their engagement session and I’ll say this: every session should incorporate nachos. Seriously, what better way to celebrate your love than over a ginormous plate of nachos.

We’re so excited to announce St. Paul, Minnesota’s newest resident, 6-day old Aiden, and his mama Rochelle. Their in-home newborn session downtown St. Paul was a big fat slice of heaven. Every Sunday should be like this.

Little blue-eyed Elayne, with her wispy blonde hair, alllll the way from Colorado, celebrates a birthday later this month and we’re so excited to have squeezed in her photos while they’re visiting the Midwest!
