Kaylie + The Sweltering Sweater
I am so grateful for people that allow me to show up. To show up real, to show up true and to show up *probably* late.
Last week I met up with Kaylie O’Connor, a rockstar Twin Cities fashion blogger, who looks oh so cute and put together ANY time I see her but also is true-magic in that she never makes me feel underdressed (even when I show up in leggings and Notre Dame sweatshirt and she’s effortlessly put together). On her blog The Sweltering Sweater she talks about ethical fashion and versatility in the pieces you own, travel tips, and how to collaborate with brands in the industry (brb reading that right now). She is a beautiful and honest writer, can help you generate all sorts of new ideas for the seasons wardrobe and both her blog and her insta feed are oh-so visually appealing. And you know what else is super cool? She’s pretty much the same person in-person as she is behind the screen. And you don’t always get that lucky, right? I admire her honesty, transparency and her ability to be real. Also, she’s got a “How-To” post on transitioning your lounge wear into office wear, LOOK NO FURTHER. Life just got comfier.
You know what, I left feeling darn lucky to have her around. Ya gotta keep those peeps close. Definitely go check her out.
