Anna L. Koosmann, Seattle Architect
This last week we updated my aunt, Seattle Architect, Anna L. Koosmann’s portraits while she visited home for the holidays. Anna is an award-winning architect recognized for her work in the Philippines and recently re-located back to Seattle, WA after teaching at the University of Arizona - Tucson, to begin her freelance work focused on partnerships with both local communities and international non-profits. Being a woman in a male-dominated industry means that Anna takes a unique and intentional approach to her career. She believes that being a good architect is someone that works to empower their clients to make conscious and informed decisions.
Professional portraits can be fun. You can mean business and still showcase your personality. With any headshot portrait session, I like to find a balance between “I mean business” and “but I’m also more than that”. Not every photo is a LinkedIn profile photo but I love it when I can send out a jam-packed gallery that gives you both your professional portraits AND some totally must-see, mid-laugh, full-of-joy, this-is-who-you-are portraits, too. It’s YOU and oftentimes you’re more than the work you do.
