Elizabeth + Bella
I have no words for this session (but I have to because… you’re not a mind reader, so here I’ll try). Where am I happiest (if not with the family)? Pretty much exactly here: in a field with people that love each other.
This mom + daughter session in Lake Elmo, MN was GOLD to edit and re-visiting this gallery to finally post on the blog is giving me alllllll the feels. Everything about the lighting, the fields, and their vibrant personalities that I can ... I’m smiling all over the place.
I’ve known Elizabeth + Isabella for several years and of course they photograph very well (see below for proof) but here’s what else I know. Isabella is the spunkiest, sassiest, most headstrong young lady (her mom might know a little something about that too) and though it can be tough to reign in when raising children, I have no doubt that those traits will serve her very well as she grows up.
Having a daughter very close to Isabella’s age and having known them for so many years, this was a particularly fun shoot. There’s something so very special about a mother + daughter relationship and I consider it a wonderful gift to be an instrument in capturing these little moments together for them.
