The Smith Maternity Session

Some of my nearest and dearest friends are expecting a baby!

If you’ve been around here for awhile, you probably have seen their faces before. I’ve now captured their engagement, wedding, maternity and soon I will be their doula + birth photographer as they welcome their first baby into the world!

They call me their “life photographer” and it’s a title that I don’t take lightly. Whenever folks welcome me into some of their most precious stages of life it’s an honor that is not lost on me. Being able to capture these precious milestones in life gives me such purpose.

We ended up shooting at a cute little off-shoot park of the Willow River State Park. It’s become one of my favorite new locations this season and of course, Jordan and Nick came perfectly outfitted for their little river-side picnic. We had a couple outfit changes to give their maternity gallery some variety and I couldn’t have planned better outfits then what they ended up putting together! It perfectly fit them. And that’s always my goal.
