Aiden Anthony Flowers: Newborn Session

St. Paul, Minnesota’s newest resident, 6-day old Aiden, and his mama Rochelle, were the most beautiful clients to spend a Sunday afternoon with. There is nothing I love more than fresh little babes. Their fuzzy little shoulders and the quietest cries are never lost on me. I typically plan on a couple of hours for any newborn session because despite these little ones spending much of their early days sleeping, I know I appreciate time built-in for feedings, diaper changes, and getting them to sleep. This way, your session doesn’t feel rushed and hopefully isn’t stress inducing whatsoever.

And guess what? I never come empty-handed. Every new mom (or dad) deserves their favorite caffeinated beverage hand-delivered. Newborn sessions are meant to be a treat for new parents.

This is the second year in a row where my first session of the New Year has been with arguably some of my favorite clients: babies. This session was particularly wonderful because we shot in the most beautiful downtown St. Paul apartments. With absolutely dreamy sunlight pouring in, the wood beams, brick walls, and the gorgeous claw-foot tub…the whole day was a fat slice of heaven.

I’m so grateful for another year in business.
