Jordan, Allan + The Agave Kitchen

When discussing the details of their engagement session, Jordan had said she wanted to incorporate one of their favorite restaurants into their plans, and I couldn’t wait! Why? Well for one, if you’re asking me, I’d say there’s probably no better way to celebrate an engagement than over a huge plate of Agave Kitchen nachos (maybe tacos, but Agave has those too). If you’re visiting Hudson, WI, you’re going to want to put this famous plate on your must-try list. And #2, Agave Kitchen was my first ever legit, tax-paying job at 16 AND that’s where I met my now-husband, Joe. So it’s got a soft spot in my heart.

There’s nothing better than making your engagement session totally YOURS. Wherever you decide to shoot, whether it’s somewhere you’ve never been or it’s one of your personal favorites, make sure you feel connected to the location because those sweet memories often show in your photos. So for Jordan + Allan, we started their day out at their favorite state park where they go for hikes with their puppy and ended it downtown Hudson, taking advantage of all the holiday magic. And after running around in the cold, we warmed up at Agave Kitchen with full bellies and happy hearts.
